25th Birthday and April

Wow, how the time flies! April 2nd I celebrated my 25th Birthday and I will be the first to admit it was very bitter and sweet at the same time. The night before my last night of being 24 I was at my moms house and I started bawling! I was like tomorrow I am going to be 25 and what have I accomplished with my life have I really made the most of 25 years?!?! turning 25 was a major thing for me I wasn't completely looking forward to but after all the probably unnecessary tears sitting there in the middle of the night with my sweet mom I reflected back on the past 25 years and looking at the picture in whole I have accomplished many things I am so proud of and thankful for and I feel I have made the most of my time here so far The greatest things I have done in my adult years that I am so proud of:

-Going to college! I moved to Idaho one week after graduating from high school and spent 5 years at BYU-Idaho and I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Child Development when I was 23. I made many memories and friends and priceless times that will last forever.

-My Job! April 14th I celebrated my 2 year Anniversary at Intermountain Healthcare during my 2 years with the hospital I worked at LDS Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center and now McKay-Dee Hospital which has been my home for 1 year now I have had priceless memories and experiences working with children and getting to experience the miracle of life with working with precious newborn babies I am so blessed!

-The Temple, I am so blessed to have been able to go through the Temple and receive the full blessings of the house of the Lord and the blessings it has brought to my life.

-Education! I am working on completing a 2nd degree in Social Work I can't believe I am getting to live this dream and am working towards this I am loving every minute of completing this.

-Friendship... I have met many dear friends that have changed my life and I love my friends more than anything in this world without friends I don't know where I would be..

-My family, I would be lost without them We may not have it all together but together we have it all:)

Looking at the picture in whole I realized what I have always known I am blessed and this journey has been one worth every single tear, laugh, memory, good times and bad times and everything in between..

So for my Birthday I took a much needed trip to St. George. I had so much fun!! I got there Thursday night and my Cute Nephew Ashton got to come down with me he was the best co-pilot he kept me great company:) Thursday night when we got there We went to Dinner at Texas Roadhouse with my mom and sister Krista this is always a tradition for my birthday it was good! I had been battling an awful sore throat and flu so I was still not feeling so well but was starting to feel better thankfully to anti biotics

Friday morning my b day I woke to my mom serenading me she always sings to me on my birthday its cute every year no matter where I am she sings me happy birthday in her cheesiest voice I love it!

That morning my mom and grandma surprised me with a pedicure! There is a lady in St. George that does the most amazing pedicures she dips your feet in hot wax in the end and wraps your feet it is amazing it was such a treat! I got cute pink toe nails I love visiting for this reason:)

When I returned home to my moms she said she had a day full of surprises in store for me she is such an angel... She took me shoe shopping I got some new shoes for work and some cute new sandles for summer then she took me to American Eagle and Old Navy and bought me the cutest shorts and shirts for summer we had so much fun shopping!

Later that afternoon we went to Dinner with my wonderful family. We ate at Red Lobster and it was divine:) I had a great time with everyone.

That night my mom sister and I went to The Last Song it was okay.... Miley's teeth bugged me the entire movie but I liked it.

I had a wonderful wonderful day I am so blessed for my life and the live I have lived these 25 years have been mine no one else but me has experienced this life it has been a blessing to experience everything I have. I had so much fun in St. George!

Since its been forever since I have blogged.... Other April happenings.... I finished my 2nd semester at Weber I am so happy to be done and have a break this summer from school:)

I also applied and interviewed for 2 new jobs at McKay-Dee Hospital... one in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit as a Critical Care Tech and one on the Behavioral Health Unit as a Psych Tech... a lot of people think I am "crazy" for wanting to work on Psych but I feel it would be very rewarding and am leaning towards that job if it is offered to me I will know this week.. I love working on the OB/GYN unit and love working with the miracle of life, but if change comes my way I am looking to take it... we shall see

Much Love To All!
Love, Me-
